Thanks for the link to Popped Culture. Amazing how the iconic image of the Last Supper has spread. Grant Wood’s American Gothic is another example of art subsumed by popular culture. And Munch’s The Scream.

I never thought of certain foods as being endangered. Reminds me of antique roses & heritage gardening, and those varieties of cows that some farmers try to preserve. I recall reading of an Explorer Club meeting in London where the members dined on mammoth steak (frozen from Russia).

I caught up with the first 3 seasons thru NetFlix over the past few months. Unfortunately, I have to wait for season 4 to become available on DVD, as I don’t have cable. Neat photo … and I’ve wondered what evangelicals must think of the fact that it’s the cylons who are espousing the one God philosophy on the show. There are a lot of interesting subtexts.
